No special equipment needed! UrinDx is an at-home urine monitoring device that becomes a part of anyone’s bathroom routine.
Included in your shipment box will be the device, anchor(s), and a user manual. UrinDx clips into the provided adhesive anchor at the front of your toilet bowl, just under the flush holes. UrinDx is designed to remain in the toilet to capture all your bathroom visits, however, can be easily removed as needed (ie when cleaning the toilet).
Once installed, UrinDx sends your urinary health information after every use to your Starling App on your smart phone. iPhone and Android phones are supported.
You are able to order UrinDx today on our website! Once ordered, you can complete a telehealth visit with our partner providers to discuss your care plan and confirm eligibility. Once your telehealth visit is complete, UrinDx's complete health insights will be available everytime you visit the bathroom!
Yes, you can, however you will only have access to UrinDx's wellness insights such as hydration, color, and frequency, which are available to users who opt out of establishing care with a provider. To unlock our FDA regulated UrinDx health insight for urine turbidity, our patients must have a provider who is an existing Starling partner or establish care with our network of telehealth specialists to manage your urinary health.
UrinDx will only capture users associated to the device, meaning, (1) UrinDx differentiates between multiple users and (2) UrinDx does not capture non users. Users will need a smartphone with access to the internet and bluetooth capability.

UrinDx is automatically cleaned through toilet flushes and no further cleaning is required. Our system confirms UrinDx is clean and ready for sample captures everyday through our calibration feature. At Starling we tend pop UrinDx out every two weeks to clean it with soap and water.
UrinDx has a 6 month use life with unlimited sample captures. Some of our users have up to 8 sample captures a day! When we see your UrinDx is nearing the end of it's use life, we will confirm you'd like us to send a replacement to continue on the program. No additional fees will be charged for device replacements.
